Whatever Deisan wants to tell us, it surely must be important. Better hold off for now, and tell them some other time.
Realizing you havent told the others about your encounter with the sea creatures, you explain it to them, tied in with how you came to learn of your fire powers: You felt compelled to enter the cave, sat down to see what was up with the campfire, then suddenly you got attacked from behind.
They all sat quietly, listening. Well, except for Senbo, occasionally muttering <span class="mu-g">"Oh no!" </span> and <span class="mu-g">"I told you they were real!" </span> to noone in particular.
Elder:
<span class="mu-b">"We need to tell the people about this. If they know there are dangers around, they need the motivation to start training immidiately to fend off any attackers." </span>
Senbo:
<span class="mu-g">"Nevermind the training, we need to build some basic defence immidiately! What if they slit our throats while we sleep? Our current infrastructure is sorely lacking, anything and anyone could slither up our shores any minute!" </span>
Merchant:
<span class="mu-r">"I agree with senbo on the defence and infrastructure, because they might be good to have. But I believe we need to establish some form for communication with this species before we do anything drastic. Sure, one attacked you unprompted, but how can we know they are all bad?" </span>
Senbo:
<span class="mu-g">"Did you even see our bosses face? They must be sickos!" </span>
Merchant:
<span class="mu-r"> "There might be a reason for it! Uhm, an accident, maybe?" </span>
Senbo:
<span class="mu-g">"Yeah right, a knife accident rubbed over someones face? I dont buy it!" </span>
Elder:
<span class="mu-b">"Calm down you two..." </span>
Senbo and the merchant ended up very passionately *discussing* the nature of these creatures, even if it seems neither of them really have much experience with them. Seeing as there is little to discuss while they are both acting up, you decide to leave.
The estimated time before the anticipated diplomats arrive is about one or two weeks, maybe three tops. There are tasks that need to be done and preperations to be made.
There is going to be one lesson in magic every two days at least. What other else do we prioritize?
<span class="mu-s">Choose two priorities: </span>
>More magic lessons - Once every two days is not enough
>Check with our smith - Tools for farming are made, maybe you have some insight to give
>Help out with the wine - Make sure there is enough for the next festival, and for the guests
>Inwards training - Back to the cave. A better master makes better students
>Check the perimiter - Assessing our defence could be crucial in the near future
>Write in
>Write in
(You may choose the same twice for a better effect. Ex: More magic lessons + More magic lessons)
Next post tomorrow, probably a bit longer sesh as I dont have work on sunday (thank god)
