The Jailer had wrapped his Stormwind cloak on the sobbing Jaina as she sat on the stone steps.
“Prince Alric.” He greeted you.
“Thank you, we will take it from here.” You replied to him.
“I'll be in the office.” He replied. “Happy freedom.”
Malevus gave you a puzzled look as you sat next to Jaina who kept the cloak around her shoulders and kept sobbing.
“I became friends with the Jailer.” You told Jaina as Malevus sat on her other side. “He is deadly bored, very rarely does he have any customers or visitors. So we started talking and he is a reasonable man.”
You wrapped your arms around Jaina and allowed her to rest her head on your shoulder.
“I-is t-that h-how y-you w-would h-have e-escaped?” Jaina asked between sobs as she started to laugh and cry at the same time.
You tapped the side of your nose as Malevus joined you in hugging Jaina.
“Professional secret!” You replied with a chuckle and continued. “Malevus is fine, I am fine. Everything is fine.”
Jaina cried and laughed.
She had lost the one she loved so much, the one with whom she was going to build a future with. But she had saved her good friends and that was worth laughing and being happy.

Slowly Jaina recovered and you helped her to get back up. Malevus kept holding her close to her as you pinched the bridge of your nose a bit too hard in annoyance.
“Arthas that fool, I knew he would do something stupid, but to support my hanging?” You lamented. Malevus had quickly briefed you of what had happened.
