A pious young woman, the oldest of five sisters and one brother. Fate seemed to conspire against Kama depsite her initial fortune one day. First her betrothed left her for another woman, then an accident claimed the life of her brother, and while two of her sisters found husbands to marry, the other three lost their lives from misfortune, leaving Kama alone with naught but her religion to devote to, praying for a way to escape this seemingly endless chain of misfortune.
The Crucible would arrive to answer her prayers, granting Kama powers beyond her ken and a state of everlasting rapture as she strives to escape what she perceives the Crucible as the cycle of Samsara. She seeks the Defiant as a means of ascension. Enlightenment her goal, whether she lives or dies, she does not care as long as she joins the Defiant in the path to Nirvana...and failing that, the Oblivion of all existence.
