>>6099329You all walk in silence as Towa leads you all back into her lab, where you see her machines still running. And an image of a being you've never seen before on one screen, its color the same as that goo that tried to grab your daughter smirking evilly. From its face you can almost feel its malice, its hatred through the screen.
“I'll assume you want them all here for this as well, and so I'll get right into it.” Towa says. “The Tuffle parasite creature known as 'Baby', made from the dna and memories of the late Tuffle King Kudamo. It exists in two states of matter at-will, choosing to make itself either a solid or liquid at any given time. This ability gives Baby the means of entering one's body to begin the Possession process, in which he completely takes over the host's bodily functions. From action to thought, the Tuffle Parasite will essentially become a part of the host.”
At this she chances the screen, showing a much younger Trunks of the Time Patrol. Watching as the slime-like body of the creature enters him. Only for the boy to transform into a Super Saiyan, blasting the pint-sized version of the parasite out of him. And, upon seeing this, your wife speaks up.
“Hold on. If the power of a Super Saiyan is enough to repel the creature, how did it take over Raditz?” she asks, you seeing Broly, Kori, and Cauli all turning to her in concern. Having not known the details yet, but seeing the sh ock and horror on their faces.
“Simple. This version you saw here was when it was only partially-born, in its infancy of power.” she replies, changing the screen again. This time showing a much older King Vegeta IV, having lost his tail and dressed in the Time Patrol's clothes, but the parasite takes him over as well. And despite the king's power, the monster fully controls him in a moment. But as he laughts, having gained control of this body. The screen then changes again, to when Trunks confronts King Vegeta. Showing his infection, Trunks then clutching his head before somehow being possessed, their facial expressions matching.
“Wait. Trunks repelled it, but the creature didn't enter him again. How did it do that?” Caulifla asks, your daughter's tone disturbed. “Can it break into your mind telepathically?”
“No no, nothing quite so direct. No, the reason it was able to regain control of him was because of the earlier possession.” Towa says, pulling up a diagram of what seems to be a person's head. “Once Baby has entered a host, it lays eggs within them. Which will hatch later, latching onto the host's brain like so. And then, once within range of the original parasite they can be 'activated', putting a victim who'd thought they had escaped back under the parasite's control. Rather ingenious, if I say so myself.”
