>>5448754>>5448759>>5448779"Grow!" You raise your left arm, though what did you not expect, was for a wooden arm to rise from the floor as it fragmented into bladed leaves and petals, the orchids grew up to your knee as they hit the mandragora sprouts that happily danced and jumped around, helping them pull at each other to be freed from the ground.
Unlike the last mandragoras you summoned, these ones seemed particularly docile, hugging your legs and flocking to your group, leaving a wet trail of syrup onto the grass they step on.
"Whoa..."
"Is it true then? Are we really speaking to our savior's son?"
The people became enamored by your magic, with the flowers you've grown being so similar to the garden they call home.
"Way to show off, Vlad..." Isidro chastised you for displaying so many colorful petals while the wooden arms embraced you, covering you with their leaves, attempting to grab Violet's feathery breasts, only to receive a smack on his hand by the harpy's father.
"I am not showing off..." You speak in a low tone as Farnese approaches to attempt to extract some serum from the cute little blobs of radish resembling the once threatening mandragoras. Not only is the soil of Nostos incredibly fertile, but is seemingly being controlled by the thoughts of Sivir's unconscious mind, making you question what is the extent of her powers, if she can inhibit the Sea God's will while staying asleep all while doing this without so much as waking up from her slumber.
Since her orb is merely a contained manifestation of your true powers... What does that say about yourself?
"Even if you are indeed a relative of Sivir as you say you are, I still cannot allow an outsider to interfere in our island's traditions. The Sea God is a being that can destroy islands by simply walking past them. The largest whale of the sea would be swallowed in mere seconds by it's maw. Disturbing the peace of our land is something that could not only result in the loss of all life on our island, but perhaps, of all continents."
"But Ishmael! What if this man really is able to save Sivir from The Sea God!?" A younger woman in her late 30s slips something the chief was trying to hide from you.
"Save? I thought she was doing fine before..."
"Truth is, traveler, The Sea God is smarter than you'd think. Sivir has tried to hide and escape from him several times while he switched positions to catch her. She's hidden inside clams, dug herself underground, but the fact of the matter is, she's hard stuck to the ground thanks to her roots. She can communicate with us by telepathy and by reflecting her image in the water, but for the past month or so, she has yet to answer us. We've even increased our offerings to the sea god, but he knows that Sivir is the primary target for him to be set free, and with each passing full moon, he will keep growing stronger..."
