>>5188129>Did they say something about why they want this team defeated? Why does a museum even have a team?“Bad blood from what we could figure out,” Ruby states, getting a nod from Axel. “You know how museums like to share exhibits around? I think a deal went wrong or something like that.”
“’N we’re the hitmen da boss is sending to enforce the contract!?” Max asks, incredulously. “If you squint at it, it’s like a bad gangster movie!”
“Regardless of what it looks like, the museum has been good to us, so let’s not spit on that,” you say. “I’ll go down when I get a chance and figure out the logistics of this then.”
“Still doesn’t explain why a museum has a team,” Leo chips in. The lot of you turn to Ruby, including Axel, and she freezes for a moment at the sudden attention before she snaps out of it and reverts to anger.
“I don’t know why you’re looking at me!” She snaps, rounding on Axel. “You were there too!”
“Maybe it’s like us,” you chip in to save Axel from death by Ruby. “A tank they support, rather than a team that belongs to the specifically.”
“Yeah, that sounds more plausible,” Ruby nods.
With an explanation offered, and the matter dealt with interest dissipates, and your crew slowly go back to what they were doing before - arguing. You decide to do the responsible thing and egg them on.
Monday 29th October (Day 196)
You’re woken up far earlier and more rudely that morning, by an alarm clock blaring at you. You reckon Otto agrees with you the way he launches himself at the alarm and attempts to kill it. While he gets the casing good, he’s unfortunately unable to end the noise and you have to reach over to slap it.
