“The kids are hungry, FYI.” Julia states factually. “Pharos has them calm for the most part, but they do need to eat sooner rather than later.” With Bernard asleep, there was no way you were getting anything for them last night, and you’re pretty sure everyone else around here is hungry as well.
“Yeah, we’ll hop right to it!” Bernard sounds a little <span class="mu-i">too</span> eager to leave.
“Unless you’re still busy, of course.” She adds, putting a little extra emphasis on the ‘busy’ part. The smirk on her face is absolutely cattish. You’re never going to live that down, are you?
<span class="mu-i">“Pizzaitisbye–”</span> And, with that, Bernard makes his great escape.
“Anything else?” If Julia has any additional business with you, you think it’s best to get it addressed here and now.
“Well, maybe you could bring me more clothes.” Julia says, striding closer to you. <span class="mu-i">Waitwaitwait.</span> You can’t help but give her a look. Didn’t you <span class="mu-i">just</span> buy her clothes?
“Don’t get me wrong, I really like the dress you bought– and the one I got from yesterday. Did you know that was <span class="mu-i">Piccante and Gabbana?”</span> She trails off, looking oddly enthused about stealing someone’s designer dress.
