>>6151237Going north towards the ancient forest next to Darrowmere River was a bit of a question mark in your mind. You knew that gnolls were there, they had ambushed you after all which meant that they needed to be dealt with. But you know that The Syndicate also has or had a presence there. There was also the question of will the closeness to the troll territory have any weight? What about the mountains that border The Hinterlands? You would be stepping into the unknown, but you would have the river protecting your left flank in addition to Shoredon and the rest of your men just a short rowing distance away. Would going north be the right choice first?
Going east and into the rear of the gnoll territory was the second choice. Keeping the columns apart as planned and sweeping through the lands was how you had planned the campaign to go in the first place. And now you were in a position to attack into their rear instead of head on. Destroying their camps first and then attacking whoever is nearby could prove to be useful, but how would they react? Gather everyone together and strike as one mass or attack enraged without much thought in tactics? You couldn't know.
So which is it, going north or going east?
Choose one:
>Go North and follow the Darrowmere River>Go East and strike into the rear of the gnoll territoryQM: Might have another update in me for later today
