A peaceful and comfortable silence took the the room, occasionally broken by small bouts of conversation.
"Master, I should return to my exercises." Ayane began to get up. "I once more invite you to join me. It shall be a good way to gain warmth in such a cold day."
"I'll do you one better." You possessively wrapped an arm around her. "How about we do some 'warm-ups'?"
"Hmm? Already?" Ayane was surprised, but nonetheless gave into your embrace as her tails instinctively enveloped you both. "I suppose I must take responsibility, no~?"
"You'll be taking more than that in a few seconds."
"Fufufu, it can't be helped~"
Soon enough you had a passed out kitsune twitching on your bed. Seeing her like this made you once again think of ways to bring her fantasies come to life.
You'd keep an eye out for the moment you'd to strike.

It was another cold day. But it was midday, and the sun was shining, so there wasn't much of a risk to get sick.
That didn't change even as you took a stroll outdoors. You looked upon the cheval-de-frise that surrounded the place, as well as the many military 'safe houses' and trenches that clankers often patrolled. None of your kitsune guests mentioned anything when seeing it, but they all seemed to understand that it was a byproduct of past dangers. Even Ryko understood that these defenses were a necessity against enemies. But now that things were likely gonna be more peaceful you considered demilitarizing and putting the cheval-de-frise in storage. This place was presentable, but it was also intimidating.
At least Cattleya was making sure to clean things up.
She was wearing her usual bikini. Despite how cold the wind was, and how another storm threatened the distant horizon, the sun's rays gave a pleasant warmth that she used to justify her choice of clothes.
Your catgirl approached you with a report about the scrap she gathered this week. Almost all of the trash, and the remains of clankers that were defeated, was now collected. This was more for the sake of cleaning things up rather than getting any practical use from the materials. Not like there was much scrap left lying around anyway.
[Gained 200lbs of scrap]
One thing was certain — Heaven's Landing looked more presentable.
Still there was a sort of charm seeing a former warzone was slowly embraced by nature. It was almost artistic if you looked at it a certain way. But you weren't sure if any Victorian nobleman would agree with just leaving things like they were.
"Oi..." You realized Cattleya was walking next to you. Her face held a somewhat somber expression as she followed your gaze to the remains of the battlefield outside your home. "Mind if I take a second of your time, guv?"
"Sure." You turned to her. "What's up?"
"It's 'bout my old man." Cattleya meowed. "I just wanted to thank you for looking into this shit. Gives me a bit of 'ope I'll see him again, you know?"
"Glad to hear that." You smiled.
