When you wake you are being violently slapped in the face by a screaming woman (QM: roll 1d20 - I will explain this later). The entire side of your face and cheek feels raw. In your right hand is the Voice Of Judgement, Triskelion, Yargai's cursed revolver. In your left hand is the Leuchtpistole, smoking and empty. The Skull Of the Dead Land - your own skull - lies behind the woman. The skull has rolled towards a strange, heavy metal object that has appeared, wedged into the shattered paving of the street, where bricks and stones have been torn from the road by the rioting mob crowds, in order to use as improvised projectiles against the guards.
The woman
>>5136360 is screaming at you -
Let go of the gun! Drop it now! What are you doing...! Let it go, let it go! You must surrender the gun... The world is ending, but there is no need for this...!
(QM: you cannot let go of the gun. It is locked at stage III: hit on 1,2,3,4,5; death on 6, GAME OVER).
>Explain to Scarlett the gun is cursed, and you cannot surrender it, as Death is bound to your soul.>Well at this range, surely you cannot miss? Empty the gun into Scarlett's face, and send her to the Red Lord. Maybe you will meet her in the Dead Land next time... (QM: unfortunately you still need to roll 1d6, to do this).>Scarlett has only to turn and see the skull - your skull - rolled against the sinister metal bomb, Object XIII. You have a feeling that this would somehow be very very bad. Maybe just use the grip of the revolver to pistol whip her to unconsciousness? How good is your melee again? And how does knocking people unconscious work in this world?>Maybe when you meet girls do not talk about death so much, unless they are goths. Ask Scarlett what just happened to you, what you were doing and where you went.>Ask Scarlett if she has any hobbies. Does she like dancing at all?>Ask Scarlett if she likes ttrpgs>Ask Scarlett if she knows a certain Doctor. You do not feel too good, after your trip to the Dead Land...
