“Oh? I take it that, either your Divine Dragon Force or your daughter's Stand have unlocked some sort of new power?” he asks you, to which you can't help but smirk at how astute the old alien is.
“Yeah, my Divine Dragon Force has a new ability, called the Dragon's Pact.” you tell him. “It can make a contract between at least any two beings, with any stated terms and consequences.” you tell him. “I got one with that bastard Lobo after I saved him from some sort of prison ship, keeping him from betraying me. If he breaks the terms, he dies. No matter where either he or I are.”
“Oh? Well now, that's quite impressive.” King Cold answers, but you can sense he isn't sure. “But how long does it last? Is it for those bound's lifespans, or does the effect end with your death? Does the power your Stand infuses to other beings decay over time, or is it at full power always?”
And as he asks these questions, you realize that you don't know. So you look down at your right hand, Divine Dragon Force appearing and looking at you with one yellow eye.
“I do not know what would happen, should we perish.” your Stand tells you telepathically, King Cold no doubt hearing as well. “I cannot say what happens after our lives end. But what I do know is how this ability works. I copy myself when I use this ability, making imprints of myself on those bound by the pact. And this energy, while I can still feel it, is not under my own control.”
“I see.” King Cold replies, thinking it over for several seconds. “With this....ability, perhaps a truce can be reached. But it requires much consideration. I shall speak with Ubo myself.”
He then ends the connection, you turning to your large ally.
“He's coming.” you tell him, Ubo immediately bracing himself. “No, he's here to talk. I told him about Divi-”
