So, for example, Distant Cloud will be Distant-Cloud from now on.A crazy idea sprouts in your mind. What if you were to cooperate with this Autumn-Moon? You convey this idea to Skyfrost.
“I was thinking along those lines as well.” He responds. “Still, he’s an Immortal Ascension player. For all we know, he might not be willing to work with us lower level plebs, heh.”
You survey your surroundings briefly. “Might as well give it a shot.”
“You got that right.”
After discussing a little more on battle plans, you and Skyfrost emerge from behind the boulder, in full view of Autumn-Moon. His character briefly turns to look at the two of you with a stoic expression. Who knows what his reaction was from behind the computer monitor.
“Brother!” Skyfrost takes the lead. “Shall we work together to down the boss?”
“Huh? You wanna freeload off me or something?”
Autumn-Moon’s voice is crystal clear, capturing the fullness of his mid-ranged, male voice with stellar detail. He’s probably using quite an expensive mic, you reckon. Again, you can’t help but feel he sounds oddly familiar.
“Not at all! You can have the first pick of the loot, we’ll take whatever remains.” You add.
While avoiding the Penghou spirit’s speedy attacks, Autumn-Moon refrains from saying anything more, suspicious of your true motives. It looks like he needs a little bit more of a nudge in the right direction.
“The Ebonwill and Steelport commanders won’t stand idly for much longer. Don’t you think it’ll be safer if we can take down the boss faster?”
The silence from Autumn-Moon persists for a while longer -that is, until he makes a slight mistake that almost costs him half of his health bar.
“Alright, I’ll take up your offer. But you’ll let me take as much of the Celestial Plumtree Wood as I need. Got it?”
“Of course!” Skyfrost affirms.
