"Well I should probably say hello first…" You mumble out, eyes dropping to your boots. You knew you were out of your element, but you'd do your best. Yumigawa smiles wide, patting you on the arm playfully. "Now that's the spirit, no need to be shy. Yuga, Alexi will show you to the office. Ask him for anything, he'll do his best to get it." Fear swelled, you thought your Mistress would be accompanying you. You give her a worried glance, but the woman either failed to read your emotions or just didn't care. Probably both when you thought about it. "Come along Mortimer." The doctor says, pushing you back out of the room and into the hallway. Less people are around as she leads you through a network of indistinct hallways.
"How was the flight? Not too bumpy I hope!" She was cheerful and bright. You felt a little dull in her presence. "Oh it was only a little rough when we landed." She nodded vigorously, long white coat flapping as she spun to look at you. "I have hated flying ever since I was little. Even up here my legs feel bloody wobbly!" The doctor made an exaggerated example by wobbling with each step. Passing through a doorway into another hallway the ambient lighting changed dramatically, the oppressive fluorescent bulbs were replaced by an entire wall of glass. A massive window stretched all the way along on one side, you could see the city clearer. You felt your legs tremble at the sight, wide walkways branched between towers as helicopters cut through the clouds. Down below a nest of roads intertwined as countless lights danced across them.
Stepping closer you pressed against the glass, small figures walked below. From so high up they were just as small as the snowflakes that bumped into the glass. Turning up the towers climbed further into the clouds until they vanished into a featureless sea of white. "Pretty cool sight huh, well you better get used to it. You'll be stationed here until we get you and a Phobos engine sorted." You said nothing, in awe of the city. You hadn't known what to expect. "It so big." Was all you could muster. The woman let out a chuckle strangely enough watching you more than the cityscape. For a few minutes more you watch eventually pulling away as you began to feel hot. Slipping off your coat you stuff it into your bag. Yumigawa stood by bemused. "Ready?" She asked kindly, with a nod the pair of you set off.
