Almost like the entire thing was trapped in an eternal twilight. The lack of proper light seemed to make the entire thing give off an eerie yet mystical presence. How could such a thing exist here?
Kaku presses his hand against the portal. It's almost like trying to push through watery glass. However, he is successful and forces the hand through. He almost falls right through, righting himself in time to not tumble head-first into the mystery portal. Kaku's hand feels a cool forest breeze tickling the hairs.
As Sableye turns each of the hoods over, he notes the very familiar emblems of the cultists they met a long while ago. The cloaks also seem to have been here a while, too, if the dust on them indicates anything.
