The Dragon of the Rapids suspended herself in the air as she felt the waters begin to move again. Below, bubbles rose to the surface, boiling from the immense heat of my release. I was going to meet her as an equal now, and open her eyes, kill the suspicions the hard way.
I rose, exploding out of the water.
[SHENNU] "AGENT OF THE TRINITY..." I heard her voice, more clear than ever. "-BEGONE FROM MY SEA."
[Pressure Washer]!
She fired off another jet at me. But this time, it would not hit. She saw my eyes piercing through the spray, and gagged as the jet was forced back into her throat. She clenched her jaws for a moment, and then shrieked as the backdraft of water forced its way out of her mouth, spilling like a waterfall as she coughed.
My hooves pranced through the air on unseen tiles of levitation. Each step I took in the sky glittered with the colors of the prismatic spectrum from the Psychic forced I exerted.
[MAJORDOMO] "A hit for a hit's only fair!"
'Shennu... calm... DOWN!'
[SHENNU] "GRAGH-"
The psychic wave my horn sent pulsed. The Dragon was suddenly sunk in a nanosecond so fast she split the ocean again before me. I showed her I was not outside her weight class. A spherical and invisible shield formed over the lighthouse. I formed a barrier to protect it from these fierce waves swirling like tsunamis as Shennu rose from the sea again, heading right at me like a spear. Only now, she stopped in her path a second before she could collide with me again.
[SHENNU] "...Wait... You are...!"
And the seas calmed.
Under an eternal sky, my jade mane flew. Fins twitched on my legs, and a tail lashed behind me as I pawed at the air and snorted.
'I am NOT your enemy, Dragon. This rage must end.'
[SHENNU] "Impossible... a Qilin... but... b-but... all true Qilins had died out! The Trinity made sure of it..."
