Our field elements seem to have taken a loop. These sewer systems being a labyrinth were no joke.
Our Siqariyim team has encountered a skirmish between sewer patrols and a particularly nasty Khanate creature; An Ogre. A superhumanly strong creatures with thick horn growths protecting its entire head area. There's several dead Ashigaru laid out across the tunnel floors. The Ogre is engaged with an Ashigaru's long yari spear, continuously poking at the creature. It seems to be wounded. There's a ranged Ashigaru farther back down the tunnel with a crossbow. That kind of weapon may not seem very effective but they don't use steel bolts. They fire iron bolts tipped with an arrow head infused with Qi, effective for killing Afterseas beasts. They've spotted our Siqariyim coming down the tunnel but they don't react as they are engaged with the beast.
Getting within that beast's grabbing range is absolutely out of the question. It would crush any of our operatives easily. There's three more Ashigaru with swords waiting for the right moment to charge past the Crossbowman and impale the Ogre and try to finish it off.
[SIQARIYIM] "HQ, instructions."
[CATASTROVANIA] "Uh... uh... d-... uh.. dh-...w-well... uh!"
Catastrovania is freezing up. She's never been in command of men in a real combat situation before. This is far, far different from video games. She is nervous and doesn't know what to do.
[SIQARIYUM] "HQ. Instructions."
Ahead, past the Ashigaru and beast, the light of an access leading up is seen.
>Assist the Ashigaru in taking down the beast and then attempt peaceful coercion. Our Ninjas look modified enough we could possibly lie and pass ourselves off as different Samurai units.
>Weapons hot. Eliminate them all in short order. Kill them all before they can report this instance back above.
>Forget them both. Quickly rush past the beast and shoot the Ashigaru on our way, evening the score between them and leaving them to both fight it out while we ascend.
