A truly Dark Elliot would be terrifying. We are fairly charismatic. Smart. Sane. Can lie through our teeth if needed. In addition to the wizards he would recruit, he is not a racist asshole. He is muggle born. Knows both sides of the spectrum. I have no doubt he would recruit muggles to his cause. Let them know that their children didn't have to die of childhood cancer, a cure was a few potions away. That their loved ones who died in agony could have been fixed with a few spells. That the poverty they experienced could have been made less torturous, that the inequity of the world made less severe if only the magical community wasn't so conceited.
And that he would break the world to make them pay. He would reshape it into something better. That if they followed him, they live in his kinder one, he wouldn't let other people suffer like they had before.
