>>5451836As he walks over to them, they almost seem lost in their own little world… and that world is a Business Planet, made of spreadsheets and stocks and cold hard cash… and probably long lost artifacts. Monty’s telling Lime about how he’s been renting out some areas on his planet for ambassadorial events and alien archeology symposiums, with Lime talking about how he can set up small shops and the like that feature Earth products. Minotia wastes no time getting their attention. “Speaking of prior history, look at these two lovebirds! They’re hitting things off pretty well!”
Monty and Lime both get a bit quieter, with your friend rubbing the back of her neck anxiously. “W-well, I wouldn’t exactly…” Monty mumbles sheepishly.
“Aww don’t be like that!” the boy protests. “This IS a competition with people coupled up, after all. And having good chemistry helps you both do better!”
Lime smiles bashfully, then looks towards Monty. “...No harm in trying, right? Besides, some of those prizes are bound to be good ones, knowing Peppa.”
That eases him a bit. “No harm in trying, just…”
“No rushing through it all?” Lime asks, and he nods. “Then that’s a deal.”
The pair shake on it. You and Cocoa grin at each other. It’s a start. “Looks like their business might be booming in the future! Best of luck to you both as well! Say, Cocoa, you got any teams you’d like to get some thoughts from?”
“I do, actually!” she replies. “Minotia, can you check in on Hakka and Cheelai for us? Those two are remaining noticeably calm about this team-up.”
As he heads over, you do a quick scan over the area, tugging your goggles down and switching your mic off. “Para Para bros, you all good? No signs of any unscrupulous troublemakers?” You… do sense a couple odd presences nearby, but none in the amusement part itself. One almost gives off a similar vibe to Sala, and that person doesn’t seem particularly suspicious… yet. Further out there’s… what your goggles register as Number 19 headed to Capsule Corp, and not in any particular rush. Oh, and 16 is there as well, with Giru. Interesting.
“So far the coast is clear! Maybe boss’ signs are working and keepin’ that guy away.” Don Para replies.
