>>5518022As you move through the basement you hear several rapid cracks from somewhere far away, and the sound of cars or maybe vans screeching. Damn. Better get a move on. You hope Jack can handle himself out there. Or at least make a getaway.
The trail eventually leads to a giant door, already opened, thick and unlike almost anything else you’ve seen. It almost looks like something you’d see in a bank vault. Weird. Must be some old nuclear bunker thing. It makes sense, if they wanted to keep these records safe, and you guess the plans for the city are important too. It’s here that the trail of water ends, but it shouldn’t be too hard to find them now. They must still be looking for the file, so all you have to do is wander about until you get to them.
You walk inside and you’re met with… a stairway? It’s going down. Guess they really wanted to be sure this stuff wasn’t lost. You shrug and start climbing down. When you reach the bottom you turn around and find yourself in a long concrete corridor, stretching out to your left and right. This doesn’t look like a basement anymore…
You wander down the corridor, until you reach an intersection in the wall. Shining your light down it you see it stretch down, with doors and windows lining the wall. You walk up to one window and peer through. There’s chairs and desks inside, and several filing cabinets against the far wall. It almost looks like an office complex? What is it doing down here? You don’t continue down, and instead head to the end of the main corridor. You reach a corner, with a stairwell at the end, going down. You shine your light on a small set of signs you notice next to it.

What the hell is this? This isn’t a basement, or even a bunker, it’s an entire goddamn underground base! What on earth is a city planning building doing with this? This place is starting to give you the creeps. The team could be anywhere, and unless Jack got lucky, that squad of guys from the diner are going to be down here with you soon enough as well. You have to choose where to go looking for the team. Where could they be?
