For some reason, Dipoelagus is sitting by itself at the edge of the light far away from everyone else! When you notice, you stop dancing and walk away from the crowd of humans toward Dipoelagus.
"What's wrong, Dipoelagus?"
For a moment Dipoelagus doesn't do anything but then it turns itself to look at you and says "THIS MIGHT BE HARD FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND. I THINK WE'RE UNDERNEATH THE PLACE THAT USED TO BE CALLED TOWER EIGHT. THE PROFESSOR WHO ONCE LIVED HERE WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME."
Dipoelagus turns and looks away out into the darkness beyond Kroma-La. It's hard to tell what Dipoelagus is thinking because its face doesn't move, but it seems like it's thinking about something! After a few moments it says "THIS PLACE BELONGS TO THESE HUMANS NOW. I DON'T BELONG HERE."
It seems like Dipoelagus is really sad! You don't know what to do!
What? You just remembered Professor Holly didn't seem to have any mon friends? Do you think he might like to meet Dipoelagus?
"Yeah!"
"PARDON?" You didn't mean to say that out loud but Dipoelagus is looking at you! "DID YOU SAY SOMETHING?"
"Professor Holly!"
"A PROFESSOR? IS THIS PROFESSOR HOLLY NEARBY?"
You nod your head and point up at the cave ceiling!
"The sky world!"
Dipoelagus tilts its face upward toward the cave ceiling and then turns to face you and says "YOU'RE GOING BACK TO THE SURFACE, AREN'T YOU? I CAN'T CLIMB UP THE SIDE OF THAT ALIEN SPACESHIP."
What? You just remembered Yara told you there was another way to get back to the sky world somewhere past the ash caves?
"There's another way!"
"ANOTHER WAY TO THE SURFACE?" Dipoelagus looks up again and then looks at you. "IN THAT CASE, WOULD YOU ALLOW ME TO ACCOMPANY YOU?"
What? Dipoelagus is asking if it can come with you back to the surface? You're nodding your head!
"THAT'S VERY KIND OF YOU. I'D LIKE TO MEET THIS PROFESSOR HOLLY."
You can't be sure, but it seems like Dipoelagus isn't as sad anymore! Can you think of anything else you can do to make it happy?
"Come join us!"
Dipoelagus turns to look at you and then turns all the way and follows you back to the dancing humans!
"HAS ANYONE EVER TOLD YOU THAT YOU'RE A VERY UNUSUAL MON?"
