Her first shot misses, and for a moment you think you have an opportunity, but just as you’re moving towards it, her second shot clips the moose’s horns, a second before it ends, leaving her two points ahead of you.
“You hit its horn! That wouldn’t kill it,” you complain for dramatic effect as you put the gun away.
“Don’t hate the player, hate the game,” Yuzu giggles as she slots hers back into its holder.
“So, skeet shooting, huh?” You ask. “Once a long time ago?”
“I never said a long time ago,” she replies with an innocent smile. “Just that it was once.”
“I think that counts as cheating then!” You declare as the two of you drift away from the arcade. “Therefore I win by default.”
“So you’re telling me you picked the game because you thought you would win,” Yuzu states. “Either way, I won the dance off, and the bowling, meaning I’m either three to zero or two to one.”
“I…I’ll get you next time,” you sigh, admitting defeat.
“I’m sure you will,” Yuzu laughs as she pats your back. The two of you stop for ice cream before heading back, according to Yuzu you get the honour of paying since you lost at the arcade.
