Jesus christ that's a lot of revelations.
>There's a large amount of failed plantmorph souls still out there, possibly bound to the now cleansed swamp
>Vlad's grandfather could technically be considered the elder due to his ashes being used, and Danan may well qualify as a grandmother due to her contribution to Sivir's creation
>Vlad is considered to be entirely valid as a member of the god hand with his potential, just not in the current cycle
>Vlad's ties to the astral, when combined with his pearl, is enough to manifest and activate a behelit even as an infant
>Hedwyn's prodigy status and his descent into madness due to countless failures and a deep obsession with defeating causality at all costs, which is mirrored heavily in Vlad's own choices
>Merlina's own pre-sacrifice backstory revealing how she was slated to be the next sage and personally had a hand in trying to cut Hedwyn's plans short
Good shit, Becchi. I wonder if Skull Knight ever had any encounters with Hedwyn, both being driven to extremes in their fight against the forces of causality.
I also wonder why Conrad specifically seems to be the one antagonizing the silver-eyed clan the most. A personal grudge? Some relation to them? Perhaps it's even a simpler matter of them being a 'pet project' of his to try to develop some truly despicable disease...which is actually frighteningly possible with Vlad's research and abilities, since he can create the mandragoran plague fairly easily right now if he wanted to.
If it's a matter of relation though, I would hazard a guess that Conrad is a lot like The Entity. He often takes the form of swarms of creatures rather than singular ones, he seems to be a fairly quiet and reserved individual (which could be the result of having a lot of entities in him vying for control at any given moment, requiring concentration to remain fully in charge), and he favors transmuting the world around him whenever he displays his powers. Perhaps he's a conglomeration of failed experiments even further in the past, either by some previous generations of the silver-eyed clan or possibly even their predecessors (the less refined clan that would have existed when they were still experimenting with ways to increase their effectiveness with magic, back when their blood wasn't innately reactive to their runes). That last theory could explain why he looks like a baby, considering what usually happens to failed experiments.
