>>5465977https://youtu.be/865eLPimhwUSo that’s what they think, huh? Oh, you’re ready for all of them. Meanwhile, Lime and Monty have cleared a number of the challenges already. They got through the chainsaw maniac, the poltergeists, the apparently bottomless pit, the snake chamber, the taxman (which does get a slight spook out of them, but they manage to overcome it), the dollhouse of horror, and even the sandworm, and are just now getting through the mad scientist’s lair. They just have to clear through the spider cave and… aaaaand Lime isn’t taking the spider cave all that well. In fact, when they get to the giant spider at the end, she starts stepping back. Monty notices this, and takes her hand protectively. Then, as the giant spider crawls closer, several smaller ones start to crawl off of it. Lime yelps and jumps in his arms, and he heads to one of the exits with her, carrying her out of the haunted house.
“Oooh, that was a close one!” Cocoa calls out. “But the good news is, the two of them are okay… and possibly a bit more than okay, by the look of things.”
There’s a brief moment where Monty, still carrying Lime, stops and smiles warmly at her. Lime smiles back, but the two then remember they’re in public, and she quickly leaves his arms, the pair blushing brightly.
Perfect.
So, they cleared eight obstacles, they get a total of eight points!
Videl and Shaprner are next, and while they get through the first few pretty well, you notice Sharpner’s nerves starting to fray, even as Videl leads him by the hand through it. Their sixth challenge is… “No… NO! THE GAINS GOBLIN IS REAL!” Sharpner shrieks. An uncannily buff little green monster, weilding two dumbells in its hands, lets out a shriek and starts to chase him. Videl is so baffled by what she’s looking at that her hand lets Sharpner’s go, and the young man bolts out of one of the exists. “HE’S GONNA TAKE MY PHYSIQUE!” he yells out, running for a good few seconds before he realizes he’s outside again. Videl walks out after him, face in her palm.
Welp. Five points.
