The hangers where the Knights stood vigilant was a place that TalOS could not help but feel some form of satisfaction with. At either side the houses of Borgius and Navaros stood with numerous Tech Priests in the middle convening with each other. Within this hanger Fifty Knights stood in the middle of being examined and processed through the skills of the Adepts.
Rituals for Knights was new. Many of the Rituals that TalOS knew held ages of thousands of years while those of the Knights were being developed in just the last few years. Indeed many of the previous maintenance schemes of the Knights previous Caretakers was given to the Mechanicum, but the Priesthood knew that there were plenty of things that needed to be cared for.
The number one of those was the Machine Spirit. The Machine Spirits of these Knights each held at least a century of service. Many were venerable even beyond those days and had been rumored to serve since the days of the Federation.
Such a thought gave TalOS a smile as he looked upon the constructs. With them in the care of the Mechanicum their Machine Spirits will go on for another ten thousand years of service to humanity.
As TalOS pondered this fact he noticed that to either side of him groups of people were appearing. Each of them had at the front a young but still tenured adult at the head. There were some words spoken among them with words ranging from ‘Leader’, ‘Priest’, and ‘Prophet’.
TalOS felt a little surprised at the last one. No one among the groups of men seemed to chatter down and others simply nodded in recognition of the words.
“Arch Dominus TalOS, it is a pleasure for you to have come here.” Prince Alexander Navaros called out as he almost ran to get to TalOS first.
“Thank you for answering our call.” Fredric Borius called out as he tried to catch up to Alexander.
“Indeed, and thank you for the warm welcome.” TalOS said as he took a moment’s notice, “Is there a place we can talk that is neutral between the two of you? If not I am aware of a place where the Legio Astorum is lodged.”
“That would be the Table of Unity, Arch Dominus.” Answered Fredric, “Your current path will lead us there.”
TalOS gave a nod to that before he started his way down the corridor.
