Waves of heat flowed down into the ground through your hands and feet, causing the ground below you to sizzle.
Seeing as how Kazuya didn't wear any shoes, you figured that he'd have a lot of trouble stepping onto super-heated concrete. And your theory was proven correct when Kazuya immediately jumped away after getting too close to you.
The only downside was that the change in temperature made it so that the airflow around your arms changed drastically, making it slightly harder to perceive his movements.
That being said, you had to rely on your sense of hearing, your faint seismic sense, and your much stronger spider sense to win this fight.
You advanced on Kazuya, striking at him with burning hands and grabbing hold of his limbs whenever he attempted to retaliate. This strategy earned you more than a few bruises as you settled on the strategy of blindly striking at him and chasing him down by crawling at his feet when he tried to back off.
He clearly didn't like this new rhythm, as his inability to keep his feet in contact with the ground didn't allow him any room for clean counter-attacks.
And soon enough, your rapid strikes started to chip away at his hard-light body. You couldn't actually see the damage that had been building up, but you could sense the parts of his body that were starting to fade away.
At some point, you even let the flames shroud your entire body as you latched onto Kazuya and tore at his simulated flesh. You took a few unnecessary hits in the process, but you couldn't complain about the results.
Kazuya's avatar faded into pixels and flew back towards Ember, leaving you alone with Ryu in the ring. It was to your great fortune that Ember didn’t have enough time to code in another form for Kazuya. You were starting to get curious about what she could accomplish if she really took her time.
<span class="mu-r">“Thanks for being patient and waiting your turn.”</span> you said, turning your head in Ryu’s direction. <span class="mu-r">"You know, aside form the time that you kicked me in the spine."</span>
Your senses told you that he had changed stances, and was now prepared to engage you in combat.
What will you do?
>Run up to Ryu and spam low-kicks!>Repeat the same strategy you used on Kazuya to defeat Ryu.>Create a pair of enlarged web gauntlets and use them to smack Ryu around.>Engage your opponent in an honest battle with no tricks.
