Hughes Mansion

"Uh, girls...? Spencer looked around, mechanically adjusting his glasses. He was slowly sobering up and realizing he was all alone.
Except for the footsteps coming up the stairs...
"S-Steph...?"
An impossibly large silhouette emerged from the end of the hallway and started walking toward him.
"Not Steph! Not Steph!" he blurted out, trying to back away, only to immediately trip on a carpet fold and land on his butt.
"Lurch! What the hell are you doing here?" a familiar voice whisper-shouted at him.
"N-Norman...?"
"Where you expecting someone else? Get up, we gotta go!" The Linebacker looked exhausted. Probably having something to do with the limp Miles he'd been hauling around all over the place on his shoulders for what felt like hours.
"What's wrong with Miles...?"
"There's no time to exp--"
The boys jerked their heads to the east as a door unlocked somewhere in the back, followed by rapid panting as someone rounded the corner at the bay window and started running toward them.
"HE'S COMING!-HE'S COMING!-HE'S COMING!" Audrey screamed.
"Fuck..." Norman huffed through gritted teeth.
"W-Who's coming...?" Spencer asked; his voice breaking.
"Oh my God! Spence, you're okay!" Audrey fell into his arms and hugged him tight.
"Wrong time, wrong place, lovebirds!" Norman snapped; adjusting the boy on his back. "We gotta--"
*thwip-thwip-thwip-thwip-SCHLOCK!*
>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRvES2Yw9lUThe axe flew through the air and landed on Audrey's back. She looked up at Spencer one last time, before slipping off his arms and collapsing on the floor.
The killer stood at the other end of the hallway, breathing heavily. He pulled the string dangling from his grotesque mask. His one eye lit up.
"BoO."
Spencer was frozen in place with his mouth agape, doing his best not to swallow his tongue; the horned giant's reflection on his glasses growing larger.
Norman grabbed his lanky friend, kicked open the nearest door and barged inside, before locking it behind them.
The slasher strolled across the hallway to a twitching Audrey. He retrieved his axe and kicked the girl over to face him.
"You'Re a bAd fRieNd, AudRey..."
"B-Blease...!" Audrey mustered, raising her hands in front of her face; choking on her own blood.
"...aNd yOu tAlk tOo mUch."
He leaned over the girl, grabbed her jaw...
*crack-schlorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp*
...and yanked it off along with a thick strip of flesh, as if peeling away a piece of string cheese.
Audrey stopped moving.
The man wiped his hand on his tracksuit and faced the door the boys went in. He was about to turn the doorknob, when...
*BLAM!*
A revolver shot echoed from somewhere outside.
"HuH...?"
He turned on the spot and and opened the door on the opposite side of the hallway to find himself in the game room, before walking over to the large window in the back and staring out into the night for a moment.
A red flare slowly climbed up into the storm.
