"What then?" Wind says. He stands up and kicks an upturned table, sending it clattering across the ground. He whirls around on you, hissing with vitriol.
"We just let them leave? We throw ourselves against them again without your help, and get more Digimon deleted?! DAMN IT! Why are all of you-"
His hand moves to the gun again, but the nearest squad of Commandramon go for their weapons in response, forcing him to rethink it.
"Why the hell do none of you LISTEN?! When I say something is necessary, I mean it! Goddamn it! Why can't you just follow my instructions so we can get through the day?!"
Wind turns towards Liza, who has taken shelter with the other three humans on the far end of the room. You see his fingers twitching with raw fury. Then he looks towards Kaus Gammamon, who refused to let go and ended up in this state. And finally, to you, who's now refusing to execute a room full of Digimon who have no choice but to surrender.
"I'm the one who put all this together, who came up with all our plans, who's paving the way forward. I'm the one who knows best. Why can't you just follow what's best? There's no other option here, what do you want us to even do?"
"I'm not your soldier." You retort. "I'm here as a contractor, we agreed on that."
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">"Wind, I can attempt to-"</span></span>
"Don't! You're already so badly injured, you won't survive another fight."
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">"It is as you say. There is no other option but to eliminate them. Otherwise, our entire operation is finished."</span></span>
"You're one of the only ones who I can rely on after all, huh?"
You look towards the group of Digimon. It's a very rough spot to be in, for everyone involved. You don't want to betray the Dogs of War, but you don't want to abandon your own morals either.
