>Who would run the Blackwings in the futureThat's a good question! I think several people are capable of the job, but wouldn't actually want to do it. I can't imagine that once Blair hangs up her spear for good, that anyone would feel comfortable stepping into her shoes and assuming the mantle. They'd more likely just form their own company full of Blackwing leftovers. Shelley or Nero would have been the most likely to do this. Besides after the war is over, mercenary work will be in short demand. Assuming characters survive, they'll each have an epilogue much like the actual games do.

Damian got a bit more "airtime" when recruiting Mina and being part of the party that fought Odesse, but he could use mroe given that he showed up in Thread #1. Theo also feels like he had a lot of screentime in the beginning, but has slowly taken a backseat. I'll be trying to rope in some scenes with everyone more though. They're all pretty fun to write for, and I can take more liberties with them given that their OCs.

I wonder if she's the only student that had that treatment? Even Marianne's fate is sort of alluded to during the Arcadia mission. You'd have for sure seen Leonie had you sided with the Leicester Alliance at Gronder. She took up leadership of the Jeralt Mercenaries just like she did in the game. The two of you would probably develop a bit of a rivalry. Unfortunately, she did die at Gronder here, so looks like we'll never meet her.
