A voice called. It didn't belong to you Mistress, you relax. The seizure stopped and your Phobos did the same. Trying your hardest to speak, you muster a few words, fighting through the cracks in your voice. "Secondary Linking is Successful. Ready for Auxiliary Linking. Can you please get this tarp off me, it isn't helping." It took a moment for you to receive a reply.
The plastic around you that still remained slipped free. The entire hall returned to your vision. "Copy that. You had use worried for a second there Pilot." Two Prince class Phobos stood on either side of you, both were shorter than you. But unlike you there were carrying weapons, the safety bars clearly removed. Flicking around you saw the panic as most of the staff had already left. The candidates were far away, staring at you. You could see their lips moving frantically. "You really in there kid?" A voice inquired over the Lo Wave. One of the Princes was addressing you. "Yes, Sorry. The second layer caught me by surprise." You felt the barrels of their weapons finally fall from you. "Where is Haruki?" You barked back. Both received the signal. The Phobos on the left, gestured over its shoulder. The Umbral Core of her own still hadn't sunk into the Phobos. She was still undergoing Primary Linking. "Pilot, are you prepared for Auxiliary Linking? Stay in contact. Over."
