What separates the Mechanicum from the Imperium is our Autoloader technology does work. Though frankly, I also feel we would use more Lance Batteries or Plasma Batteries than we would Macrocanons.
I imagine the part where acolytes have to directly fuel reactors is also now avoided thanks to much better and open automata.
Hell, we're a big trend setter. I think one of the biggest changes we've made is that the majority of the Imperium is open to naked drone tech and less servo skulls, following the Lucian tradition of recycling even bones rather than using them for religious purposes. Our drones are just plain drones.
40k is full of grim but hey, it's part of the fun you know. Just no need to throw it into everyone's faces except where it's not appropriate or overbearing.
