>>6053276Well, I can't say I'm really into Wuxia myself, but my first exposure to it was relatively refreshing when the main character ended up taking no shit and reacting to things with absurd levels of violence. It was a stark difference to what I was used to reading, with meeker MCs that avoided problems as amicably as possible or otherwise allowed obvious displays of disrespect without a reaction.
Then I discovered that all wuxia fiction does that and became promptly disinterested.
