Alright, so I feel the need to write this disclaimer because I'm going for a specific vibe with this quest, one that is at odds with what I often see on this board. So instead of getting into a frustrating tug of war with players over expectations regarding the MC's motivations, attitudes, and behavior, I figured I'd just state some things upfront.
Namely, that this quest will contain:
- larger than life characters
- big passions
- big drama
- big fights
But it will not contain:
- boring, safe pragmatism
- shadowrunning
- grindmaxxing
- mild-mannered, middle-of-the-road compromises
- inventory management
Both protagonists are fairly high on the setting's power scale, experienced, and highly competent in their chosen specialties. If they think they can do something, you can generally regard it as true. As such, there will be no trap options barring hysterically retarded write-ins and votes should be regarded from the perspective of whatever sounds more interesting rather than what seems "optimal". At the same time, the protagonists are highly opinionated, passionate about their beliefs, uncompromising, occasionally arrogant, and at least mildly sociopathic. Their personalities are set and will not change without an extreme external impetus.
tl;dr: I wanted to write a fun quest in the vein of Exalted, but without the handicap of dealing with the clusterfuck that is Exalted lore and mechanics
And yes, this is a yuri quest.
