“Hey. Do you know anything about the real world? Any clues you’ve dug up during your research?”
“No. Nothing, really. There’s no reason to integrate it into the systems or draw reference to it when coding. It was all so long ago anyway. More than anyone can imagine.”
“I just wonder how it’ll work when I show up in it. I know I can get hurt, and that it’ll feel different, but there’s just so much to look forward to.”
That’s how you’re going to have to march. Straight forward, with your eyes on the prize, without looking at anything else, or thinking about it too deeply. That’s the only way you’re going to be able to achieve your dream.
“That’s beyond anyone’s guess. But I’m sure you’re not the very first person to go through the portal. Maybe in this City. But there have to be other populations out there.”
“City 87-O.” You spit. “Yeah. There’s gotta be 86, 85, and whatnot. I wonder if they’re as dull.”
By now, the conversation has gone stale. Her sincere effort to connect with you has left the both of you feeling just a bit worse off. It’s a little hypocritical to do this after trying to encourage her to get closer to people, but you need to go. You stand up, and she doesn’t stop you this time.
“I’m gonna go check on Phascomon.”
You want to see him. Maybe it’ll clear your head. You just can’t stand talking about this issue.
“Okay. I’ll get back to it, then. Help me tell ToyAgumon that his runtimes were still out of order!”
You nod, finally relinquishing your hold on your outfit. It’s crumpled beyond belief, so you do a quick reset and slip out of the workshop.

You know that the two of them are in the training room. However, before you can make it there to start checking in, a large group of recruits and noncombatant staff surge past you. Plenty of them greet you as they slide by.
"What's up?" You ask, suddenly alert.
"Wind is almost back," one of them replies. "We're just cleaning up the foyer."
"By teleporter?"
"Yup." He confirms.
You decide to go see him instead of checking on the two Digimon. You want to set up a meeting and hear what he has to say regarding the Cutemon situation.
