>>5680384>What would've happened if we chose to attack the mages instead of attacking the demonic beasts? Would we still fight Phaedo, or is there another Sage present? You'd still fight Phaedo, though the actual battle itself would be different. Demonic Beasts were probably easier. Lot of mileage out of that Blessed Lance.
>If we chose to not participate in the battle of Gronder Field at all, what would've happened? Would our reputation be worse off than it is now?Realistically, you'd be fine. You wouldn't be able to save anyone that was fighting in the battle, but this wasn't exactly a fight anyone was clamoring for. As for what you'd be doing in the downtime, hard to say. I was so sure people here would vote to participate that I didn't really flesh out a contingency plan.
If we chose to duel Kate instead, would we have gotten a chance to convince her to join us? Have we locked ourselves out of the route to have her join us?
Can't reveal that yet!
>If we weren't intended to win against Rex here, would we have instead been directed to seek other forms of power (i.e. Crests and Hero Relics) once we fled the field? Can't reveal that yet!
>Are there any choices here that would've resulted in a bad end / game over for the Blackwings other than battles?Pushing to keep allying yourselves with the Alliance pre-Gronder would have led to something bad.
>Lastly, was victory for either the Kingdom or the Alliance possible at all? Or was the outcome decided as soon as we went down the Silver Snow route? The victory condition for the Kingdom and the Alliance was to defeat Edelgard. Your presence here would not have allowed that to occur in any way. She's a powerful Relic user who saved the best for last, and was surrounded by her own guard. You might have been able to mitigate damage, but you'd never succeed in landing a fatal blow.
