Getting beat up seems to have been just the thing you needed to forget that you’ll be leaving the academy soon. The new week begins, and you receive word that The Professor and Lady Edelgard have returned from their trip in Enbarr. No one has the details of what their business in the Imperial Capital was in relation to, but it doesn’t seem to matter. Everyone is focused on just finishing off the school year. Part of you wishes to speak with Edelgard still, but you recall your conversation with Hubert. As annoying as he can be, he had a point. If those “people” can take on the form of anyone, speaking about them out loud could prove to be your folly. They’ve already demonstrated that they’re capable of infiltrating the monastery after all.
The Black Eagles have a special assignment this month. You knew that The Professor would be involved in some sort of ceremony, but you had no idea that it involved her going to the Holy Tomb to receive a revelation from the Goddess herself! She may have just been a mercenary before coming to the Academy, but it’s clear to see that your Professor has grown into an important figure in Fodlan. You find it rather inspiring even. If a commoner such as herself could rise to such heights, perhaps there may be some hope for you as well. You don’t know all the details, but the “revelation” will take place in two days. The Professor, and a select handful of her students, will be guided by Archbishop Rhea into the Holy Tomb. No one you’ve talked to has ever heard of what’s inside, but it must be something grand. It sounds like an amazing experience. One that, unfortunately, you were not selected to attend.
>“If only I were a bit more popular…” You muse. Oh well! Nothing to do about it. At the very least, you’ll have the day off and won’t be risking your hide on any dangerous missions. Perhaps you’ll use the day to spend some time with a dear friend of yours. Bernadetta and Dorothea were two of the students selected to accompany the Professor, but you still have some other options.
