Dread and worry, that was something TalOS first thought when he walked into here. However instead he was set to an odd calm that rarely occurred to the Primarch. It was the feeling like a weight was lifted from his person as the ever staring eye of the Warp was blind here.
He was safe by virtue of just being here. Sorcerers nor Xenos could walk these halls without terror coming upon them.
+... F-father?+
TalOS looked over to see a pair of children, both at roughly the same age look at him with surprise. Upon both of their necks was the Vox Caster that allowed Subject Omega 1 to speak his first ever words.
+Father!+ The child quickly got up and ran across the room before giving TalOS’s legs a tight hug.
TalOS grew a small smile as he reached down and quickly flinged up the child into his arms, +That is who I am, how are you doing?+
+Good. I am good.+ TalOS noticed the box on his neck ticking after every word. The Machine Spirit was trying its best to help the child bring his words into reality but they were basic at best. The best comparison would honestly be a Servitor being forced to speak out a report; blunt, emotionless, and hard to listen to.
With a smile TalOS looked over and saw the second Null, Subject Omega 2, cowering in the corner as she looked at TalOS. She was here for roughly two months when TalOS came across an Agri World. Quite the catch, meaning this Subject Omega 2 would have something of a Sister.
+I am not going to hurt you.+ TalOS told her as he kneeled close to the ground, +Come, hold my hand.+
The girl, whose hair was as black as night and skin paled, slowly walked towards TalOS as he gave a genuine smile. Fear was written across her face as she slowly walked closer.
She gripped the box for a moment as she probably tried to speak through it without success. The next moment she spoke in her native tongue, “I-I won’t hurt you?”
“You won’t.” TalOS told her with such a force that the message was carried across well enough.
She nodded before walking up to TalOS and grabbing his hand. She gripped her Vox Caster for a moment and gave it another try, +Thank you.+
TalOS gave a smile to those words.
>Why don’t they all play a simple game?
>Give them a fun lightshow
>Teach them about their Vox Casters
>>Give them names. Best I got right now is naming them O-1 and O-2.
