Z in particular is wild, because a lot of folks don't really remember how wildly the quality in writing fluctuated.
Raditz was admittedly pretty mediocre. Everything after that up to the end of the Frieza Saga is fucking kino.
Then you get some stumbles once Future Trunks and the Androids roll around, but it all comes back to a pretty good place by the end of the Cell Saga.
Then you have the Buu Saga which was largely phoned in and feels like wading through raw sewage to grab some gold nuggets.
