Letter to the Knight Comitas Grandmaster - Wenegan, 14th Day of Kostrimun, 883 A.C.E.
Revered Patriarch,
Twenty-three souls passed the threshold into Salve Reginae’s Sanctuary today. They were escorted here by a young knight of Romaine, Sir Emile Andrei, charged with their protection by the Aubrey Chapter Master Gilles de Moray. He was accompanied brother of the Knights Comitas, Marcel Rousseau, as well as his squire Mikail of Andryski and attendant Orin. Sir Andrei also reported aid from others along the way, nobles and commoners both, not least of which being House Wavell who funded the voyage of the pilgrims of meagre means.
The names of those faithful pilgrims have been entered into the Sanctum Roll, but I shall repeat them here.
-Sister Superior Ignatius, Aubres Convent Sister Superior Ignatius, having successfully led the junior sisters of her order on their pilgrimage would set their sights on ultimately establishing a permanent foreign charity mission (under the Ordo Medicae) for the poor, the sick and the downtrodden in either Langland or Cathagi. Entrenched against the more adversarial views of her counterpart Father Towbray, she remained staunch in her view that the unsaved foreigners are no less deserving of Salve Reginae’s mercy, and perhaps only all the more in need of it.
-Sister Claire, Aubres Convent
-Sister Varity, Aubres Convent Sister Claire and Sister Varity would ultimately join Sister Ignatius’ enterprise in establishing of a foreign mission, having forged a close loyalty with the Sister Superior over their journey thus far.
-Sister Esther, Aubres Convent
-Sister Dominque, Aubres Convent Sister Esther and Sister Dominique would content themselves with returning to the cloister in Cantôn, renewed in their faith and vows.
-Father Towbray, Reverend of the Reclaimant Sect Having borne witness to miracle and strength of character alike, he would soon gather his own like-minded gathering of followers in a ad-hoc subsect of the Reclaimant Sect. Certainly not a cult, no.
-Brother Abelard the Elder, Reclaimant Zealot
-Brother Abelard the Younger, Reclaimant Zealot
-Brother Hans of St. Gabriel’s Gate
-Brother Jon of Aubrey, Reclaimant Zealot
-Brother Capal of Orleyville, Reclaimant Zealot Never at peace following the demise of his brother, Brother Hans looked for his own death in the growing conflict with the snakemen back home and found it there. The other Reclaimant members without hesitation joined Father Towbray’s sect, devotees of the living saint.
