Question after question came and the Tech Priests before them answered. Hours went by once again as they questioned the man and weighed out their own opinions on the matter.
In the time TalOS looked upon the Machine and saw the ever so subtle twitches of pain the man within the machine was experiencing. It was a moment where the Primarch had to wonder if such a fate was either a blessing given to fools or a damnation.
The fate of the man before them is for a great many more years away from the Warp. If he were to expire Evil Gods would reach forward in an attempt to claim his fallen soul. The man before TalOS was surely experiencing the greatest of all pains a mortal body could experience but was that the limits of the soul?
For a moment TalOS thought back to the screams. Deep down, within his own soul, he knew that the mortal shell was simply a safety against the Immaterium. Whatever could be experienced physically, thought can inflict so much more. A universe full of beings who can think up ways of torture will always be greater than what one can simply inflict upon his fellow.
That did not mean TalOS couldn’t look into making things more tame. After all, constant pain is definitely not good for the brain currently in the vessel for long term employment.
+That is all of my questions.+ The last of the Tech Priests said as he sat himself down.
TalOS waited another moment to see if the Council would wish to ask another question to the Magos before them but found none.
So with a thought TalOS projected his voice through the room, +Magos Kizzar, I must say I am deeply intrigued by this construct your people have held. Any amount of fire power is welcome upon the ranks of the Reconquista.+
+I thank you Sanctus Dominus. I hope that the Ordo Reductor can bring its full force to bear in your service.+ Answered the Priest as he gave a solemn bow, +Then the fate of the Thallax is within the hands of the Council.+
+The Council, submit to me your judgment of this blessed machine.+ Declared TalOS as he opened up a server.
The Machine Spirits of the numerous Priests sang as they sent to him a series of different communicaes. TalOS reviewed each and every one of them one instant after another to which the event was finished.
+I hereby declare, upon the authority of the Council, that the Thallax be approved for distribution and use.+ TalOS declared much to the interest and satisfaction of all involved.
