As for our actions:
>Attempt to create a new breed, dubbed the Surrogate caste. The caste possesses a huge abdomen, with multiple wombs contained within. Unlike the egg-laying Silverfish, the surrogates give live birth and directly nourish young with their bodies. They can adjust their hormonal levels to regulate the womb-chambers, allowing them to raise batches of embryos from other species. Humans, first and foremost, and perhaps even livestock in the future, with minimal genetic crossover. The Surrogates are merely chambers to raise already fertilized eggs, and don’t contribute their own DNA.>After the fall of the communist regime, the Paladin is released from prison. It’s been a hard few months for him, but it helps to build his backstory, at the very least. He’s a War Hero who was wrongfully imprisoned for his beliefs, during a time of upheaval. The Tauborn returns to the temple to continue praying. One attempt is not enough. Religion is a commitment. And so, he spends his time there, hoping that their prayers reach Sol Magni, and that the God is out there listening, even if She doesn’t respond. Repeat the same action as last turn, hopefully it becomes easier/more likely with consistency. >Build a stone wall and gate setup around the Rift. The water will still be allowed to rush past in times of peace. However, a system will be installed where the holes can be plugged up to make a dam. This allows them to redirect the water and cause a flood that blasts through the gates, in order to clear them of ground-bound enemies who might assault them. Post a proper guard regiment around this new wall setup, with particular attention paid to the portal that things could emerge from.
