>Somewhere in the Wilderness close to K-City's main landfill
THE TIME WIZARD tore free his gaze from the ORB he held in his hands to gaze at his surroundings. It was a new Landscape, littered with junk and the occasional monster. The silvery tower gleamed in the afternoon sun and without the protective charms woven into its arcane mechanisms it would be easily detectable. It seemed like he had teleported to K-City again. "Might as well.... maybe one of those workers can entertain me for a minute." he muttered and reached for a spontaneously created bag of nachos.
His Tower opened its gates and a great wind tore up the landfill site. Trucks the size of buildings were tossed into the air like leaves while the few administrative buildings were torn to shreds and ripped from the ground until only their foundations remained. The few hundred employees screamed for help or tried to run. Most did not survive the first few seconds as they were pulverized or had all their bones broken from all the rubble in the air with them. Several seconds later everything that had been sucked up was dumped into a massive room inside the tower. Towers of Trash and refuse were all that remained together with maybe half a dozen survivors both human and monstrous.
Creatures that resembled bloated, pale maggots writhed under the light that THE TIME WIZARD'S ORB was giving off. They started growing and being invigorated by it as their evolution was forcefully propelled forward millions of years. The few human survivors were soon attacked and torn apart by the monstrosities though some resisted. One was the C-Ranked Hero Duo Under and Loot who had come to the junkyard next to the landfill to grab some components for their homemade battlesuits. And those talents now also proved useful as they managed to bring down most of the monstrous amalgams before they were overwhelmed and devoured.
But the Maggots had not been the only thing that had been touched by the light of the ORB. The Skittler could feel power suffusing him, healing his wounds and boosting his powers though that last part would likely only persist for a short while. THE TIME WIZARD nodded with as much contentment as he could muster. Maybe that new creature would prove more entertaining than the 376 and 378th ranked heroes of the C-Rank
The WIZARD is playing a game to distract him. try to give him a good show.
Also Kaede will go up two ranks soon when the news about the heroes disappearing together with the landfill breaks.
