Thinking about it for a couple of seconds, you silently fold your arms and close your eyes. “I’ll let the master choose. After all, who knows better than you” You smile.
“Flattery will get you everywhere.” Aeos quips, finishing the final touches before letting the machine take. Deciding to let fate participate in the selection as well on top of her judgment.
Through the light of the pentagram spell circle, you were effectively separated from Aeos and the outside world. Leaving you to watch patiently with bated breath the pendulum spins faster. Slowly but surely, you were beginning to jump through space and time. First your mind, then your body, and soon even your soul was leaving the mortal coil that anchored you to this realm. With one massive bolt of imperium light, Aeos saw you completely disappear. Leaving only the pendulum and the spell circle as the sole indications that you were now traveling through space-time.
Before you could even blink you find yourself having reached your destination. It was only just a fraction of a second that you spent within that warping dimensional space. The travel was just as smooth as Whis’s Warp technique but the travel speed was more akin to the instantaneous movement of both Godspeed and Kai Kai. The latter of you which you briefly got to see from Aeos during the travel. In every sense of the word, it was a superior teleportation technique as visualization was all that was needed. Just picture a place and/or a person and pure focus was all that was needed.
Currently, you find yourself standing on what appears to be ruined. Ruins of a desolate temple that span for miles under a dark, blackened sky. The only illumination was a massive, orange-red planet it served as a giant sun. Specifically, a solar eclipse or black sun. There was also an ancient city looming in the background, set somewhere in the lower echelons of the planet’s atmosphere. The pavement was nothing but chrome white gravel, similar to the smoothed foundations of Lady Aeos’s temple. And on closer inspection, the area did look almost identical to a typical temple for a guardian of the planet.
As you continue to survey your surroundings, a dark presence begins to envelop the entire area. Illuminating it with its dark energies as two crimson eyes start to pierce through your defenses to peak into your soul. “A new visitor has come to play. Or perhaps it’s the lone, remaining survivor who’s managed to avoid becoming a sacrifice to the shadows. Either way, your luck has run out.” A dark, practically ancient voice bellows, causing the air to crackle wildly from its thunderous baritones.
