"You fought my brother! " You bark out.
"That brings you joy?" He asks confused.
"He was considerate enough to spare you so that I may see what he learned and how he has improved. I may be the Invictus, but I care about my brothers progress." And the being looks gobsmacked.
"Is yours the one with the tattoos, or the steel gaze? Nevermind. I don't care. Die." It says charging, revealing that Kolinaisi has found another brother of yours. He also has caused this being to fight like a rabid dog. Must have been a fight. His swings are as if he expects you to punish him for every move if he doesn't connect, so he is trying to move to fast to hit. The problem is he isn't. So you slap him away with the axe and hit him with another adriathic shot and it screams as it's wings fall away. It's eyes go wild as it charges Alpha steps in and, shows marked improvement. He stabs and parries, and uses the techniques you showed. Flawlessly. Then adds some flourish.
It's as clear as the sky and you beam.
You step out and tap him and he steps out. You push the being back and demonstrate the form again, but add more.
Alpha then taps you and acts similar, but he adds some of his own soul to it.
The pair of you fight together.
As brothers should.
He stabs the being, pinning it to the ground, and you put a few shots in it.
You look at him and he smiles and nods.
You hug him right there on the battlefield.
"I never thought I'd meet another brother this fast." You say.
"I didn't know if you'd figure it out, but it felt right." He says and there is a something of mystery about him, and the battlefield is clearly in your favor but you nod. You get it, he can hide himself. He has probably met ever other brother so far.
"You are supposed to be a secret." You say and he nods.
"Promise you won't tell?" He says in a sincere and humble tone, not out of sense of being in trouble but in a sense of trust.
"Not unless you need me to." You respond and he nods.
"So you deal with these rangda before?"
"Twice. They don't normally do this. Your men, are handling them well- which is astounding for non astartes. You put up quite the defense." He says.
"Kolinaisi helped, but this was a lot of us working together." You say and he nods.
"You seek not to conquer, but you want this planet to unify it"
"I want us unified and strong, I don't need to conquer to do that. After this battle, I will make sure our planet functions as a whole for this reason, after I throw of the yoke of slavery when I see it." You say and he gives an appraising look.
"Father will ask you to conquer the stars, be ready for it." He tells you.
"He didn't want me to know that I assume."
