The missile stroke deep inside the tunnels where thousands were still fighting, collapsing all around it. The shockwave rocked the entire cavern. The human defenders fell over each other, trying desperately to avoid getting hit.
Soon hundreds of kilometers startes shifting and the crust of the planet opened, freeing magma below the surface. The ground shook as the magma started to rise up, overwhelming the humans. The ground turned molten, burning everything, hot as hell , melting the walls and the roof, and even the ceiling. None inside survived from either side.
"-You know what I hate about these bastards," said The Khal looking at the river of molten lava flowing towards them. "It's their damn honor."
-Phi reply to him, wiping the blood tainting his face. "There's no honor amongst thieves."
-Khal Raspin smiled. "That sounds like something my grandfather would say. You should ask the Votann sometime when you see him again. Maybe he'll teach you one of those tricks he used to use for making money back in the day."
-Phi snorted, tired . "Yeah right. And then he might tell me he invented the wheel too."
-Raspin laughed. "Well, that's true."
-Phi continued seriously: "we will need more men"
-Khal Raspin looked at him, with a shrewd smile. "We can always get more people if you want.Grand Khal."
-Phi sighed exhausted. "what do you want in exchange."
-Khal Raspin chuckled. "What do you think this place is? A Stock Market of flesh and blood, and this war you started, will make you stock value fall soon. Though your escape is impressive, it is still a complete blunder."
-Phi replied coldly "So yes, we need more troops. We won't be able to defend ourselves against them otherwise. So yes, I will trade. What do you want?"
Khal Raspin was silent for a moment.
Phi looked at him, surely he wanted to formulate it the most advantageous proposal for his Kindred?
