"Eheheh, well..." You say, feeling sheepish about it now. "They're very special rocks we harvested from a massive underwater meteor that was supposedly created by a God a long time ago." You admit. Both of her eyebrows raise at that, a look of interest crossing her face now.
"Really? Can I take a look at one, then? You can just set what you're holding down anywhere, I track plenty of dirt in here anyways." She asks, and you take her up on her offer by carefully piling the rocks the wooden table in front of her. Your companions follow suit, eager to be rid of the burden they're carrying.
"Go ahead, you can even keep one if you'd like!" You say, beaming a smile her way.
"Thanks!" She says, reaching forward to grab a fist-sized chunk of rock and producing a tiny loupe from one of her pockets and holding it up to her eye while she inspects it. She turns it over slowly, examining what seems like every single part of it before she glances back up to you. "How hard was it to mine this stuff?" She asks.
"Ah, well..." You rub your chin in consideration. You're actually not too sure, since you have no idea how strong the machines Harum made were...
"The rock itself is about as durable as steel would be, we mostly utilized natural fissure lines that cropped up from its initial impact. It should be a great deal stronger when actually refined." Harum adds helpfully.
"True, it took a while to gather this much because of how stubborn it was!" You finish.
"Fascinating...I can't know for sure without extra testing, but I'm almost positive there are elements within this that can't be found here on Earth. If we could get our hands on the rest of the meteor, we might be able to revolutionize certain technologies with the properties of those elements..." Tento says, eyes practically glimmering as they stare at the rock in her hands.
"Not sure if that's wise." Barbar pipes up, without elaborating for a few seconds. When it becomes clear from everyone's attention being on him that you all want him to elaborate, he adds "Meteor feels strange. Just a gut feeling. Think that most people wouldn't be able to tell."
"I noticed that too, actually. It's like looking into a void, right? Honestly, when I use my ki senses near it, it kind of feels like it's sucking some of my energy into it. Barely any, but still, it's noticeable!" You say, affirming Barbar's experience.
"It absorbs energy, huh? Maybe that's why it was so tough to harvest. Maybe it was absorbing the kinetic energy you were throwing at it. That'd have incredible applications..." Tento muses further, rubbing her chin. "Would you mind telling me where this Meteor was, exactly?" She asks you, looking right at you.
>Tell her, you agree that it could be put to great use in furthering Earth's technology.
>Don't tell her, Barbar's wariness seems justified given how odd the meteor felt.
>Something else?
