TalOS leaned back and thought about the situation for a moment. This was because the greatest thing that afflicted the mind of TalOS was that he really did not trust to give this information to Magnus.
After all, he was bound to the great Deceiver. The one who once attempted to get his claws around the throat of TalOS. He really wanted to yell at his brother and try to make him understand the sheer stupidity that he has just engaged in. That the creature he dealt with was far more dangerous than he ever could realize.
But that was not a wise decision. That was something that if TalOS did would break the foundations of their relationship. If he was to break it now then it would deny his brother any chance at salvation.
Such was a measure that TalOS knew was being asked. Magnus though was unaware of the pressing matter to such a powerful question. The fool he is and his lack of foresight.
TalOS answered his brother first and foremost with a chuckle, “My brother, what you ask is reasonable. If I am to give you such knowledge though it must be handled wisely lest its denizens strike out against us.”
The Psyker gave a small laugh of his own as he heard those words, “Then you ask me to keep an eye out for those I already know will do me harm?”
“It is a precaution that I always had. You can already guess that I was once a psyker like yourself before I became a Pariah.” TalOS indulged the information as a sense of caution, “I became this because I saw them as a foe. If we dig too deeply, then all we will find is what they themselves have made for us.”
“Those are good words to live by. They will not catch me in such a compromising position as you feared.” Magnus announced with a smile of arrogance.
TalOS tried in at least this instance. To put pressure upon his brother and a mind bug which will worm its way through his consciousness. TalOS knew it will be because he himself said it, and that his presence is not something that Magnus can ignore so easily.
It will take time, but he might get something.
“Very well brother, let us trade some information.” TalOS answered his brother as he sent for a dataslate to be delivered to his location through the Noosphere network.
