The struggler did not need further guidance.
Seeing how competently The Halfling and his teammates were in their ventures on Qlipoth, as well as defeating two of Femto's Generals on their own, it was safe to assume that they would safely arrive onto Skellig without being unowning of their predicaments.
So instead of visiting them on the beach to check onto their conditions and how The Struggler was dealing with the armor's wounds, Gaiseric chose not to be swayed by curiosity. Instead, he pursued Nosferatu Zodd himself.
Not because he wanted to end their duels once and for all. The Goat Apostle was too dense to realize that he would never win their postponed duels, yet sparing him only led him more astray, instead of making him want to break free of his shackles.
It was due to Vlad's unmoving confidence in the other growing apostle in Midland that concerned him. What was it about Barnham that made The Halfling join forces with a bear apostle, one that could not hold himself in a fight against Zodd, no less.
So to Wyndham he went, off to see what the opposing apostle force was capable of, and if the judging of his character proved him to be worth ignoring, or if he should prevent Barnham from further growing.
"GANISHKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" Opening the portal to Midland's fallen capital, The Skull Knight heard the roar of the wild, intangible demon invading the occupied palace with a flank attack. Taking the Dakas with a swipe of his claw, his human enemies screamed as they could head the snapping of his joints and spine as Barnham contorted and distended his limbs just to move in unpredictable patterns, using his claws more as a five headed hook against the Kushan army.
Each fistful of sloshed entities that went inside of his magical digestive system only made him grow more muscular, hardened to the point of even his skin being impenetrable to conventional weapons. He was a moving coliseum of gladiators.
"The mandibles of an ant were made to carry the dirt around them." The gladiator turned to the Daka assaulting his arm flesh, unimpressed, unmoved. "Should one attempt to consume a predator, let it be known that their maws should be big enough to tear at their heads with a single bite!" Barnham proved the feats he himself claimed, purging the backline of their army and stacking him inside his mouth like a pack of bread crumbs.
The Skull Knight thought he would merely observe his onslaught, feeling nostalgic on seeing how the apostle fought in the front lines to show that he was not afraid of dying before his subordinates. However, his priority of making a straight line into the fortress made it so the survivors could run further up to the human fighters of Ilos, leaving them as easy picking for the monsters who were overprepared to fight them in terms of offense and defense.
