As the various groups leave their rooms and report back to the courtyard, a Gengar is standing at the front on an elevated position. Mostly by just out of a platform of other ghost-types holding him despite the natural ability to already be able to levitate, but that's not the point.
You're all patiently waiting, chatting idly.
"...is this working...?" The Gengar taps a chatot-microphone device. "...they can... oh... okay." Clearing his throat, he gives a big smile. "BWEH-HEH-HEH! Welcome newbies and not-so newbies to the practical portion of the exam! TODAY you will be experiencing the Gengar Guild's own exam portion... hosted right inside the building!"
He pauses for dramatic effect and waits for the gasps of surprise and realization. It's a silent minute before he clears his throat.
"...heh-heh? Okay, guess we're not so jovial, that's alright. Serious is part of the job. Anyway, you'll be escorted inside to the dungeon simulation. Just go grab your colored flag at the end of it and come back. That's all."
They all shuffle inside, and LHG stands next to a waiting Phantump. "Hello," he says. "I am your judge. Do good. Otherwise I fail you."
