Kinda hoping if we encounter a Jokaero we can sort of get away with thinking that they totally aren't xenos but uh, an evolved form of Terran orangutan that somehow made it to space when mankind wasn't looking or maybe a Dark Age experiment. Perhaps, in a roundabout sort of way, abhumans since they are also evolved from primates. But clearly we are still the chosen of the Machine God and not them, because they still have the cognitive intellect of animals.
Oh yeah, the Admech is probably a lot more enthused about the theological implications of evolution, seeing it as directed by the Machine God. Wonder if Lorgar's Imperial cult will try to spread the idea that the Emperor created all of mankind.
