The weapons that the Thousand Sons were now wielding were no longer the standard bolter that Astartes used. Instead of explosive rockets being sent at the enemy they were firing something closer to pure magic into their foe. Cursed to bore into their foes it was making the Custodian Armor work hard to keep their kind alive.
The same was said to the Greater Daemons who were now fullywithin sight. The ground underneath the battleline of Custodians shifted for a moment before an eruption of magic threw them apart. Suddenly the Custodians were forced to take cover among the many rocks that the Omnissiah had placed around them, for grouping together would lead to a massive loss of life.
The same went for those that charged them. Those at the front were struck by the emerald lighting that crowned the Omnissiah. Their bodies quickly being turned into atomized components the Omnissiah was able to weave a torrent of matter around the air above them. With an effort he shoved the ball into one of the flying birds that thought themselves smart enough not to touch the ground.
There was satisfaction as its flesh was rendered from its body and its prismatic flood was leaked for the world to see. He held the creature within the torrent of death for a few more seconds until the existence of the Daemon was shredded into bits. He quickly tasted its essence as he forced the Daemon down his gullet.
Now it would never trouble mankind again.
The Omnissiah turned to see the lines of Daemons reaching the lines of his Custodians and with a thought he willed another set of materials that were sitting in the air. Another push and they quickly became balls of plasma that were held together by his will alone.
He sent the stars falling upon the Daemons and watched as they fell by the Dozen. But a dozen was not going to cut it as hundreds quickly followed in behind them with intent of infiltrating.
Was now the time?
>Hold the ground until Magnus arrives
>Wait until a powerful figure makes themselves known
>Fall back to the second line now, they will come at the sign of weakness.
